Description

• Procurement of goods and services in line with the National Treasury Act ARC policies and procedures.
• Invitation of quotations processing of purchase orders and follow up on outstanding transactions
• Expediting purchase orders assisting with the international and contract procurement.
• Provide advice on the procurement of goods and or services including sourcing methods
• Handling of internal and or external enquiries
• Compile and submit reports as required.
• Financial and general administration.
• Render assistance within the stores when required.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Supply Chain Management (SCM) specifically in Sourcing Supply Management or Purchasing Management
• Bachelors Degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in public sector procurement with knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Management Policies and Procedures
• Registration with Association of Accounting Technicians will be an added advantage Knowledge. experience and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
• Knowledge experience and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) related policies and regulations.
• Demonstrate understanding of communication between end users SCM Finance and service providers and importance of providing feedback on progress.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Good analytical skills report writing and organisational skills.
• Valid drivers Licence.
