Job summary

A prominent educational institution in Cape Town is seeking a Procurement Specialist to implement procurement functions in accordance with policy. The role requires three years of experience in procurement and strong skills in communication and administration. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant diploma or degree and demonstrate good time management and attention to detail. Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in a procurement environment.
  • Experience in a higher education environment is preferred.
  • Additional short courses in supply chain and procurement will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement function implementation in accordance with the procurement policy.
  • Handling of queries and placing of orders.
  • Supplier relationship building and performance management.
  • Report writing and general administration.
