About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Fabric Buyer to join our team at Hatrick / Vecchio. You’ll be responsible for sourcing high-quality fabrics, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring we stay ahead of trends in performance and fashion textiles. If you’re someone who knows your way around mills, negotiates with confidence, and has an eye for both quality and cost, this role’s for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and develop new fabric suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers
• Evaluate fabric performance, quality, and compliance
• Manage fabric orders and delivery timelines to meet production deadlines
• Work closely with the design and production teams to align on fabric selection and innovation
• Monitor fabric market trends, prices, and availability

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a fabric buyer (school wear or sportswear industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of textiles, fabric performance, and garment production
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple orders at once
