We are currently recruiting 2 x Business Support Officers on a permanent basis to work within Kirklees Environmental Health.

Business support officers are required to provide administrative support to all areas of Environmental Health. Environmental Health is made up of a variety of Teams including, Pest Control, Pollution and Noise, Food Safety, Animal Health and Licensing, Infectious Diseases and Health and Safety.

Key responsibility areas are:

  • Inputting and data retrieval
  • Answering and making telephone calls
  • Invoicing and purchasing
  • Monitoring and actioning a variety of tasks that come into the 7 different Environmental Health inboxes
  • Taking payments over the phone
  • Providing late cover until 5.15pm one day a week
  • Minute taking
  • General duties which may be required to fulfil the role
