Job summary

An independent institution in Benoni is seeking a committed Business Studies Teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Business Studies to Grades 8-12, be SACE registered, and possess a relevant university degree. They should be dynamic, innovative, and willing to support the Christian ethos of the school while participating in extra-curricular activities. St Dunstan’s College is an independent English-medium school in Rynfield, Benoni, founded in 1918. From its humble beginnings as an Anglican Parish Preparatory School, St Dunstan’s has grown into a leading independent institution that includes the original Preparatory School, a Pre-School and a College.

The College seeks to recruit a suitable applicant for the following position:

BUSINESS STUDIES TEACHER

Commencement date – 1 May 2026 (or earlier by arrangement)

The successful candidate must:

  • be a committed, dynamic, innovative and motivated educator
  • have experience in teaching Business Studies from Grade 8 to Grade12
  • be SACE registered with an appropriate university degree and professional qualification
  • have a good command of English
  • have good organisational skills and be willing to work as part of a team
  • be willing to participate fully in the life of the school and in extra-curricular activities
  • demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian ethos of the school
  • preferably have experience teaching Accounting to Grade 8 and Grade 9, and IEB NSC marking experience.
