We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Executive: Business Operations to act as the operational deputy to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This senior leadership role will drive operational excellence, business performance, and customer success across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the COO’s delegate to ensure seamless leadership and execution of strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee Operations, Business Continuity, and Support Services to enhance efficiency, profitability, and service delivery.
  • Lead key operational areas including installation and support, recovery operations, control centre management, data governance, procurement, and fleet operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure operational readiness, compliance, and effective risk and continuity management.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial performance across all operational areas.
  • Build and lead high‑performing teams through clear accountability, development, and performance management.
  • Cultivate strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support business growth and collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Essential: Honours Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (NQF 8).
  • Desirable: Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or Senior Management Development Programme.
  • Minimum 10 years’ senior management experience in operations, business continuity, or strategic execution.
  • Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams and complex projects.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of driving business performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
