Job summary

Be Different Recruitment is seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to lead technology strategy, architecture, and innovation within its Johannesburg-based operations.

You will head analysis, planning and design for BI initiatives, drive implementation, and manage risks and quality while nurturing strong teams and a winning culture. The role involves building scalable data platforms and collaborating with partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS/Business/Commerce required.
• ITIL and/or COBIT certification advantageous.
• 5 years of product or technology experience advantageous.
• 4 years’ experience designing and implementing product roadmaps.
• 3 years cloud technology and big data experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

In order to be considered, the following is required:

• Degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce or similar
• Latest ITIL and/or COBIT certification (advantageous)
• 5 years of product or technology experience (advantageous)
• 4 years’ experience with the design and implementation of product roadmaps
• 3 years cloud technology big data experience
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with competing demands, multiple partners, networked teams, and evolving needs
