Job summary

EasyGames in Durban, ZA is seeking a BI Developer to design and build dashboards, reports and data models. You will develop ETL pipelines from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and performance, and translate business needs into actionable visuals.

The role requires 1–3 years of hands-on BI experience, strong SQL skills, and proficiency with Power BI or Tableau. Knowledge of data warehousing and cloud platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands‑on experience in BI development, data analytics, or a related role.
• Strong skills in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools
• Advanced proficiency in SQL – querying, data manipulation, and optimisation
• Solid understanding of ETL workflows, data warehousing, and data modelling
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non‑technical audiences
• Proactive mindset – you don't just report on data, you tell stories with it
• Strong attention to detail and passion for clean, well‑organised data
• Bonus: experience with cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Bonus: familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting tools for data manipulation
• Bonus: exposure to real‑time data or streaming tools (e.g., Kafka, Apache Flink)
