Business Development Specialist - Johannesburg (Forex, English Speaker)
FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Business Development Specialist in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities
- Develop the assigned country, territory or region, converting leads into clients and establishing business relationships with new and existing partners.
- Actively hunt for trading professionals on social and professional platforms, engaging them as clients or partners.
- Identify the most effective local marketing channels to promote the company and its products.
- Assist in onboarding trading clients, affiliates, IBs, money managers and other partners, providing an impeccable user experience.
- Work closely with marketing and back‑office teams to prepare sales and marketing content.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with prospective partners, proactively retaining and reactivating clients and partners.
- Negotiate partnership terms based on existing rebate structures.
- Monitor affiliates and partners to optimize performance and meet KPIs.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis, providing feedback on the customer journey.
- Ensure due diligence to regulatory frameworks and company policies.
- Travel to conferences and business meetings as required.
Candidate profile
- FX / CFD and online trading industry experience is essential.
- Native English language knowledge is required.
- Client‑focused with excellent service, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence and persuade for mutual benefit.
- Dynamic, self‑motivated, competitive, with a strong desire to succeed.
