A family oriented food manufacturing brand is seeking a Business Development & Sales Manager in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will develop strategic sales plans and foster relationships within the food service market to drive revenue. Candidates require relevant experience in FSI/FMCG sales, strong negotiation skills, and a degree in business. The position offers a market-related salary and commission.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in FSI/FMCG sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Preferred industry experience in food, beverage or dairy.
  • Valid drivers' license and own vehicle.

SUMMARY

A family orientated food manufacturing brand is developing their footprint in the Gauteng region and are seeking a Business Development & Sales Manager for a permanent role.

POSITION INFO

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria :

  • Degree in business, sales or related field (post qualification advantageous)
  • 5+ years’ experience in FSI / FMCG sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Preferred industry is food, beverage or dairy
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and data driven decision making skills
  • In-depth understanding of the food service supply chain and market dynamics
  • Valid drivers and own vehicle and able to travel when required

The s uccessful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to :

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the food service market.
