Business Development Representative

OmTalent – City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

Gross Salary: ZAR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00 per month (depending on experience)

We are seeking a results‑driven Technical Sales Executive with a proven track record in B2B SaaS sales and lead generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating qualified leads, conducting product demonstrations, and developing strong business relationships with potential clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the team to develop outbound sales cadences and strategies
  • Conduct lead generation activities and follow up on inbound enquiries via the CRM
  • Generate a minimum of 5 qualified meetings per month using a structured qualification framework
  • Engage with a target of 100 leads per day across multiple channels (LinkedIn, email, phone)
  • Set up and pass through meetings to the New Business team for further engagement
  • Conduct product and software demonstrations to potential customers
  • Maintain accurate records and data management within the CRM system
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in sales processes and customer engagement
  • Meet and exceed monthly KPIs
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales and lead generation
  • Proven success in booking enterprise‑level meetings and achieving sales targets
  • Prior experience working remotely with UK or US‑based organizations is advantageous
  • Strong background in SaaS sales and conducting product demos – preferably in the digital signage industry
  • Demonstrable CRM experience, including data management and use of sales automation tools
  • Skilled in account‑based prospecting and multi‑channel outreach (LinkedIn, email, and phone)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and thrive in a high‑activity, performance‑driven environment
