A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the supply chain and logistics sector. Job description

Leader in Supply Chain and Logistics Solutions is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will focus on driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining and building relationships. The successful candidate will be a natural hunter with a passion for sales and will be responsible for bringing in new business and play a crucial role in expanding our organisation’s market reach and increase revenue.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Matric and tertiary qualification in Business/ Sales/ Supply Chain
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling supply chain and logistics solutions
  • Proven experience in a commercial or business development role, preferably within a logistics or supply chain environment
  • Knowledge of customs, SARS and other regulatory requirements
  • Experience with tender applications and secure tender business
  • Solid understanding of logistics principles, processes, and best practices
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, (Outlook)
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Clear credit and criminal records
  • Verified References
