Job description

Lead the charge in solar growth: Senior BDM needed to close high‑value renewable projects across South Africa.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, and utility‑scale solar PV.
  • Lead negotiations, bids, and proposals from concept through to project closure.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the solar ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with technical, legal, and financial teams to structure competitive solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Deliver on revenue targets and actively grow market share in the renewables space.
Non‑Negotiable Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Engineering, Business, or Energy focus preferred).
  • Minimum 8‑10 years’ experience in business development within the solar/renewables sector.
  • Proven success in closing large‑scale commercial and industrial solar projects.
  • Strong network with developers, EPCs, financiers, and end clients in the energy space.
  • Excellent understanding of solar project development, financing, and tender processes.
  • Ability to travel and engage stakeholders at executive level.
Package & Remuneration

Annual base salary plus performance‑based incentives.
