About the Opportunity

As our Business Development Manager - Geology, you will be the driving force behind new business in Africa for our Exploration and Operational Geology Software products. You will combine your passion for technology with your ability to build strong client relationships, identifying opportunities and creating tailored solutions that deliver value.

No two days will be the same, you will be presenting to clients, preparing proposals, attending industry events and collaborating with global teams to ensure success. This is your chance to:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to win new business across the region.
  • Present and sell Micromine’s industry-leading solutions to new clients.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, recording activity in CRM.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing.
  • Collaborate with technical and services teams to deliver client success.
  • Represent Micromine at seminars, trade shows, and product launches.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience in business development and consultative selling. Your ability to manage the full sales cycle and build strong customer relationships will you up for success. Other requirements are:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in selling software, SaaS or mining technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and experience using a CRM.
  • A passion for driving growth and making an impact.
  • Availability to travel within Africa
