Responsibilities
- Targeted Outreach and Client Research: Proactively research target clients and opportunities globally, identifying and engaging with potential clients in both local and international markets.
- Lead Generation and Relationship Building: Generate leads and establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders through internal and external networking, including attending approved conferences.
- Daily Work Schedule Planning: Plan and organise a daily work schedule to reach out to both existing and potential leads, focusing on engaging decision-makers.
- Outbound Sales Management: Lead outbound sales and business development campaigns, including managing outreach to new target clients for meetings.
- Client Engagement: Engage directly with C-suite executives and key decision-makers, perform product demos, and support negotiations of price proposals and RFPs.
- Deal Closing: Close deals, ensuring a smooth transition from lead generation through negotiation and finalisation.
- Migration of New Clients: Support the onboarding of new clients, setting up disclosures reports, journals, and providing user training.
- Partnership Development: Establish and nurture partnerships to foster new business opportunities and expand reach.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of platform features and technical specifications to effectively engage clients and demonstrate value.
- Sales Team Collaboration: Attend weekly sales meetings and provide insights on sales figures, goals, and obstacles.
- Feedback for Platform Improvement: Provide constructive feedback to client management and IT teams to enhance the platform and increase market share.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain current and new client relationships, acting as their dedicated Account Manager with expertise in Lease Accounting, including guidance during audits.
Requirements
- Must‑Haves: Qualified CA(SA)
- Experience / Skills: Highly motivated with strong financial acumen, exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, proven experience engaging with C‑Suite executives and decision-makers, proactive sales approach, excellent prioritisation, time‑management and organisational skills, ability to create and deliver customised client presentations, openness to constructive feedback.
- Advantages: Experience selling a SaaS platform, proven sales track record and target‑driven motivation.
