Job description

Our client in the Lighting industry is currently looking for a Business Development Manager (Branch Manager) who does Sales Repping, in Pretoria.

Responsibilities
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Engage with existing clients and to secure and grow the business potential.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
  • Follow stock ordering and receipt procedures.
  • Follow the correct procedure for inter branch stock transfers.
  • Carry out regular in store stock counts and assist with stocktake.
  • Plan for and execute the bi-annual stocktakes, as determined by company policies and procedures, and account for the results and provide a report on any variations.
  • Bring any stock discrepancies to head offices attention.
  • Maintain required stock levels and rotation.
  • Ensure that all stock transfers received are checked into stock and merchandised neatly in store.
Qualifications

  • Reside in Pretoria / Centurion Area and know the area and its potential cliental.

Hotels, lodges, developers, electricians and other potential business opportunities.
