Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Business Development Executive in Johannesburg. You will develop strategic business plans, secure new clients, and maintain existing customer relationships in sectors such as mining and manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering and at least 5 years of experience in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase market penetration.

Identify, pursue, and secure new clients in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, energy, and water.

Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through exceptional service delivery.

Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams to deliver customized solutions.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.

Achieve sales targets and report on pipeline activities and business performance.

Qualifications and Experience :

Bachelors Degree or National Diploma inElectrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum58 years experiencein business development, sales, or account management within theindustrial automation, control systems, or electrical distributionindustry.

Strong understanding ofswitchgear, instrumentation, PLCs, and process controlsolutions.

Proven track record in achieving sales growth and developing long-term client partnerships.
