Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (mandatory)
- 5 years Facilities Management / Built Environment hard services sales experience
- Private Sector B2B experience - Commercial offices, Industrial and mining sectors
- Degree Technical or equivalent (advantageous)
- Project Management advantageous
- Computer literacy on MS Office Packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Own reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license
Duties & Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Ensure sufficient sales and networking activities are conducted in order to identify opportunities for facilities management contracts
- Ensure that pipeline and percentage to close targets are % up to date on a weekly basis on the CRM System
- Ensure all proposals and tenders meet the minimum required brand and quality guidelines
- Ensure relevant, innovative and competitive solutions are created to maximise every sales opportunity
- Responsible for developing a network of customers within the sector that drives pro‑active business opportunities to build a solid and predictive pipeline
- Ensure a high level of all competitor activity within the sector and industry
- Profile leadership (C Suite) and business activity and performance for each target account
Core Competencies
- Strong background and experience in selling complex technical solutions and service offerings at senior levels within organisations
- Understanding of the technical components which comprise a complete integrated solution offering
- Ability to listen closely to customers in order to translate business issues and priorities into a technical solution
- Business development experience including targeting new business prospects and account planning
- Strong financial experience in terms of proposal development and sales experience at a management level
- Working knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in facilities management
- Good understanding of SLA's and Management contracts
- Management and negotiation skillsConsultative sales experience and attitude
- Strong communication skills – both written, oral and presentation
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to lead and collaborate with a multi‑disciplined team
