Duties & Responsibilities
- Business DevelopmentGenerate leads for new markets and clients
- Establish client business needs and develop solutions that satisfy client expectations
- Ensure that proposed solution justify the investment and return for the client
- Secure new business and maintain high level of after sales service
- Build and maintain relationships with Vendors and negotiating pricing
- Sales ManagementAchieve annual revenue / sales target
- Lead sales activities in assigned market for products / services / solutions
- Convert sales opportunities to wins and invoice
- Track billing and survey customer satisfaction
- Source and distribute thought leadership and marketing material to customers
- Advise on appropriate solutions / pricing schedules to be applied during bid / proposal / quote development
- Collate details on new business (pipeline / pending / actual new business) and present the progress and success of performance against business development objectives and targets
- Benchmark against competition
- Attract new relationships with new customers
- Drive and follow through on qualified opportunities
- Establish professional relationships with new customer accounts and provide accurate and consistent feedback
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the business strategy, growth plan, value drivers (revenue and profit trends), and risks
- Design and develop new solutions to grow the business
- Identify market opportunities / new ideas within the group
- Governance, Risk and Business Continuity Management
- Remain up to date of new trends and innovations
- Manage business risk, internal and external monitoring of business impact, changes in stakeholder needs
- Lead improvement projects that will increase profits / protect against risks
- Establish and maintain the highest ethical standards
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Degree : Business Management / Financial (NQF 7) or equivalent
- 5+ years sales experience
- Working knowledge of financing models
- Track record in selling IT solutions (advantageous)
- Strong business acumen
- Corporate Governance experience
- Auditing process experience
- Solution sales methodologies experience
- Strong probing, listening, questioning and negotiation skills
