Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition : Identify, approach, and secure new consulting clients—medium to large organizations looking to enter or expand in Africa.
- Pipeline Development : Build and manage a robust sales funnel with accurate forecasting.
- Partnership Building : Forge alliances with investors, venture capitalists, industry associations, and chambers of commerce.
- Proposal Development : Collaborate with FBC consultants to craft tailored proposals and RFP responses.
- Market Intelligence : Track trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to refine our go-to-market strategy.
- Brand Representation : Represent FBC at high-level networking events, conferences, and investor forums.
Education & Background
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics , or a related field (MBA or equivalent is an advantage).
3–5+ years' experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition—ideally in professional services or consulting.
Proven success selling intangible, high-value services with long sales cycles.

- Consultative Selling & Relationship Building : Identify client pain points and tailor solutions; excel in trust-driven executive relationships.
- Strategic Prospecting : Skilled in market research, competitive analysis, and lead qualification; proficient with CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Negotiation & Closing : Strong proposal writing, pricing, and contract-negotiation abilities with C-suite and procurement teams.
- Communication & Presentation : Exceptional verbal and written skills for high-stakes pitches and boardroom presentations.
- Project & Time Management : Ability to manage multiple prospects and long sales cycles simultaneously.
