A leading Travel Agency Group is looking for a motivated Business Development Professional who can find new opportunities, help us grow, and connect with the right people.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively recruiting Travel Agencies and Independent Travel Consultants (ITCs).
- Building long‑lasting relationships with Travel Agents and ITCs.
- Giving presentations to prospective agencies or corporate clients.
- Conducting remote or in‑person training sessions for Travel Agents and ITCs.
- Generating new business leads through networking, outreach and referrals.
- Negotiating contract terms with Travel Agencies and ITCs.
- Researching competitors and industry trends.
- Developing strategic plans to enter new markets or boost sales.
- Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product) to support business growth.
- Providing support to Travel Agencies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post‑Matric formal qualification in a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development.
- Experience in working with or selling to Travel Agencies.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good understanding of how the travel industry operates.
- Must own a vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Travel requirements: domestic and some international travel will be required.
