Job description

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Coordinator to join their team in the renewable energy industry in the Western Cape region. As a Business Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth for the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and research potential business opportunities in the renewable energy sector in the Western Cape region
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and potential clients
  • Create and present business proposals, including feasibility studies, financial projections, and project plans
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and threats
  • Prepare and deliver presentations at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
  • Monitor and track sales activities, pipeline, and revenue targets
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and results

Requirements:
  • Formal Microsoft Office Suite training
  • 3 Years of experience in a similar position
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the renewable energy industry
  • Strong understanding of the renewable energy market, including solar, wind, and hydropower technologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape region
