Business Development Consultant – Mining & Energy Sector

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg as an integral part of our Mining and Energy Division. This market-related salary position offers an exciting opportunity to sell specialized Security Solutions to the mining and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business, managing client relationships, and leading the sales process for security solutions:

Sales Focus: Selling Security solutions to the mining and Energy sector.

Business Development: Researching key people on the mines and engaging with them.

Pipeline Management: Developing a robust pipeline of prospects within the allocated region.

Client Relations: Building and nurturing long-term client relationships, conducting regular client visits, and presenting tailored proposals.

Contract Management: Signing of contracts, and clearly communicating Service Level Agreement (SLA) agreements to the Mines.

Industry Insight: Keeping abreast of competitor activities and market trends and knowing the legislative requirements when operating on a Mine.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Education: Grade 12.

Experience: 2–5 years' experience in working in operations and sales on Mines in Southern Africa.
