What You'll Do
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through intermediaries and other strategic channels with professionalism and integrity.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets with energy and purpose.
- Provide thoughtful technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring they always feel informed, valued, and supported with clarity and simplicity.
- Confidently lead engaging presentations, communicate market insights, and facilitate training sessions that empower and inspire members and partners.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Employee Benefits and Group Risk, being a trusted and ethical resource for clients and colleagues alike.
- Deepen long‑term relationships with IFAs, EB Consultants, Wealth Managers, and Retirement Fund Administrators.
- Represent Jigsaw with authenticity and warmth at conferences, presentations, and networking events.
- Retain and grow existing clients through proactive, caring, and trustworthy service.
- Share valuable market insights that help shape our pricing, marketing, and product strategies with relevance and simplicity.
What You Bring
- BCom, Marketing, or a related degree (required).
- RE5 certification (required).Minimum 7 years of experience in Financial Services – ideally in Employee Benefits or Group Risk.
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and building a powerful intermediary network.
- Deep understanding of FSCA, FAIS, POPIA, and the Pension Funds Act.
- A confident presenter, natural connector, and relationship builder.
- High emotional intelligence, integrity, and resilience — with the ability to lead ethically, simply, and with empathy.
- Ability to work from our Randburg office and maintain a professional presence.
- Access to a suitable remote working setup to operate effectively away from the office.
- Willingness to travel within South Africa to meet clients, attend events, and support business development activities.
Compliance & Professional Standards
- This position requires FSCA Category I authorisation for Long‑Term Insurance (Category A & B1 – Group Risk) Pension Fund Benefits.
- You should maintain your CPD hours and remain informed on FSCA and COFI developments to uphold professional and ethical service.
