Job summary

A leading workforce solutions company in South Africa is seeking a Business Development Consultant to generate new business and manage existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the Training & Development field. Responsibilities include driving new business, overseeing client delivery, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Opportunity: Adcorp PMI Business Development Consultant

The Business Development Consultant’s core purpose is to generate new business and grow existing clients through innovative solution offerings.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive New Business: Identify, validate, and convert new client opportunities by presenting tailored solutions that align with business goals.
  • Commercial Ownership: Negotiate and formalize SLAs, manage invoicing and POs, and track financial performance to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
  • Client Delivery Support: Brief operations teams for seamless delivery, oversee reporting, and proactively manage client expectations to ensure exceptional service.
  • Sales Administration: Maintain an accurate CRM, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and submit monthly activity and performance reports.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong, long‑term client partnerships, identify upsell opportunities, and reinforce ATS’s value through consistent engagement.
  • Market & Brand Representation: Track market trends, monitor competitors, and represent the brand at industry events while sharing insights to guide strategic decisions
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • At least 2-3 years or more B2B sales experience
  • Must have Higher Education sales in Training & Development space
  • Matric , Diploma or equivalent with sales and or marketing/management/SDF advantageous
