Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team within the Temporary Employment Services (TES) / Labour Broking sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the region. Experience within the FMCG, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or cleaning industries non negotiable.
This is a target-driven role that requires a results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of workforce outsourcing and staffing solutions.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the TES / labour broking industry.
Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (HR, procurement, and operations).
Prepare and deliver professional proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Work closely with recruitment and operations teams to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction.
Conduct regional market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
Maintain up-to-date records of leads, client interactions, and sales activities.
Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking sessions, and industry events.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in sales or business development within the TES / labour broking environment.
Proven track record of acquiring new business and meeting sales targets.
Established network within FMCG, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or cleaning sectors.
Strong understanding of temporary staffing, outsourcing, and workforce management solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel within the assigned region.
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
Minimum: Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
Preferred: A Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or related fields.
Additional certifications in TES compliance, labour law, or HR practices will be advantageous.
