Business Development Associate | Global Creator & Wellness Platform
Location: Cape Town (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 remote)
Hours: Full-time, flexible with occasional US time zone calls
Compensation: Competitive base + performance-based incentives
This position is being recruited through Project Y on behalf of a leading global tech company in the fitness and wellness industry, empowering creators to take control of their businesses and their futures. They build fully branded apps for fitness and wellness creators, helping them own their content, audience, and income, rather than relying on third-party platforms. Their technology takes care of everything from subscriptions and payments to app builds and analytics, freeing creators to focus on what they do best: creating. They've partnered with global names like major film studios and creators across 12+ countries.
This is not your typical graduate or entry-level role where you sit on the sidelines. You'll be thrown into a fast-moving environment where you're encouraged to take ownership, make an impact, and grow fast. As a Business Development Associate, you'll play a key role in expanding the company's global creator base. You'll connect with fitness and wellness professionals, learn their stories, and show them how the platform can help them build and scale their own apps. You'll run discovery calls, host product demos, and close deals that directly shape how creators run their businesses. You'll be coached, supported, and trusted early on. This role is an incredible opportunity to learn the art of sales, relationship-building, and commercial thinking, while working in one of the most exciting creator-focused tech environments. Candidates with prior experience in marketing, sales, or business development will be highly advantageous, as this role combines elements of outreach, communication, and growth strategy.
