We are looking for a Business Development and Revenue Manager M / F based : South Africa Job Description : We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified Business Development and Revenue Manager to join CFAOHealthcare South Africa.

This is a locally based permanent contract in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Business Development and Revenue Manager will be responsible for driving growth and maximizing revenue.

This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and implementing net revenue-enhancing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceuticals business development, sales, and financial analysis in the South African market.

Experiential and Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in business development, sales, or revenue management in the South African pharmaceutical industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development and Market Access : Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, primarily through the recruitment of new principals for both the OTC and Rx portfolio Lead projects from origination of ideas to monitoring of post-launch performance Compile deck and requirements for participation in bidding processes Coordinate project management on all streams from the origination of ideas, costing, supply chain, regulatory, contract manufacturing, pitch to principals, legal negotiations, roll-out, and performance management as well as medical promotion and marketing in collaboration with our Strategic Partner Identify opportunities in Public Tenders within the existing portfolio and for new products and coordinate tender processes Understand NEMLC processes for Rx products entering the public sector Stay updated on SEP regulations and coordinate price submissions with Regulatory Affairs Support access to formularies (public and private) through value proposition development and stakeholder engagement Monitor reimbursement trends, funder policies, and public sector pipeline for upcoming bid opportunities Revenue Management : Optimize the gross to net ratio through close management of commercial policies and cooperation with our medical promotion and marketing partner Strengthen internal control awareness (promotion campaigns) Track and manage all Gross to Net elements : Log fees, Rebates, Co-Ops, Tallies, Data Fees Implement a tool for tracking profitability by customer / SKUs and appropriate dashboards with the support of the IT department Monitor and analyze revenue performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions Collaborate with the marketing partner and finance team to forecast revenue and set financial targets Enhance customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction Strategic Planning : Provide insights on business growth, market trends, and competitive positioning Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of business development strategies Support the Integrated Business Planning process Reporting, Analysis, and Operational Excellence : Perform customer and product analyses Improve ways of working for off-invoice discounting Track and monitor commercial policy Prepare regular reports Develop and utilize data analytics tools #J-
