Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a Business Development & Sales Manager to expand its footprint in Gauteng. This permanent role requires a degree in business or a related field and 5+ years of FSI/FMCG sales experience. The position offers a market-related salary plus commission.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
  • Degree in business, sales or related field (post graduate qualification advantageous)
  • 5+ years' experience in FSI / FMCG sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Preferred industry is food, beverage or dairy.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and data driven decision making skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the food service supply chain and market dynamics.
  • Valid drivers and own vehicle and able to travel when required.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the food service market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with food service chains, distributors, and institutional clients.
  • Drive sales performance to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align offerings with customer needs.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Salary : Market related basic + Commission
