A leading logistics company in South Africa is seeking a Sales Executive to drive new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics or supply chain management and a degree in Business Management. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, and building long-term client relationships. This role requires effective communication and the ability to conduct market research for growth opportunities. Competitive remuneration is offered.
Our Business Unit that specialises as a National & Cross Border Road Transporter is looking to grow their sales team.
They offer a mix of own & subcontracted fleet which gives them flexibility for a varied client base.

The incumbent will be responsible for identifying & bringing in new business.
They will focus on building & maintaining relationships with new & existing clients to ensure repeat business.
They will display expert knowledge of the transportation industry & ensure high customer satisfaction with services rendered.
Develop & execute sales strategies to achieve monthly & annual revenue targets.
Prepare / deliver sales presentations, proposals & quotations to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts & close deals in line with company policies & profit margins.
Client Relationship Management : Build & maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
Understand clients' logistics requirements & tailor solutions to meet their needs.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication & follow-up.
Market Research & Strategy : Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitors & potential growth sectors.
Provide management with feedback regarding market conditions, customer needs & service improvements.
Collaboration & Reporting : Work closely with operations & finance teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Maintain accurate / updated records of all sales activities.
Prepare weekly & monthly sales reports for management to review.
SA Citizen.
Code B driver's license & own transport.
Consistent travel throughout SA.
Senior Certificate (NQF 4).
Degree in Business Management or relevant undergraduate qualifications.
3 - 5 Years' experience in Logistics / Supply Chain.
Understanding of Business Ethics & Values.
Good verbal & written communication skills.
Computer Literate : MS Excel & Word.
Identify, target & secure new business opportunities in transport nationwide.
