Business Analyst / Project Consultant – Johannesburg.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Analyst / Project Consultant with strong project management skills and SAP knowledge.

The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and IT solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered effectively while driving process improvements and system enhancements across diverse business areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support projects by applying established project methodologies to meet business requirements.
  • Conduct business analysis, including evaluation, documentation, process design, and implementation of solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels to define project objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Coordinate project activities, meetings, resources, and communication across business and IT teams.
  • Provide application and business process support, ensuring operational quality and continuous improvements.
  • Document system requirements, functional specifications, and end-user needs.
  • Manage user acceptance testing, business sign-off, and oversee bug fixes or enhancements.
  • Act as the key liaison between business units and software development teams.
  • Identify opportunities to use technology to improve services, products, and standardise business processes.
  • Support and maintain SLAs related to helpdesk and customer service functions.
  • Develop training materials and deliver “train the trainer” sessions.
  • Mentor junior IT staff and provide process/system training for business teams.

  • Strong consulting, business analysis, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in evaluation, analysis, design, development, implementation, and monitoring of business and IT solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management at all organisational levels.

Education & Experience:

  • Currently studying towards a SAP qualification (essential).
  • 5–7 years’ business experience within a functional business area, and/or 4+ years’ detailed application experience.
  • Advanced understanding of system complexity, data logs, and functional business processes.
