Job description
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Business Analyst who sees complexity not as a barrier, but as a challenge to be understood, simplified, and solved.

This role is the connective tissue between fibertime™’s people, systems, and purpose - owning the full analysis, design, and implementation cycle for the tools, platforms, and processes that keep our Operations engine running.

You’ll work across all sub-functions - Field & Maintenance, Network Operations, Customer Experience, and Build Support - to deeply understand “how everything fits together.” From site visits and PoP handovers to ticketing systems and data governance, you’ll be the person ensuring that what we build is sustainable, scalable, and supports the people who make it happen.

At fibertime™, ownership is everything. You’ll lead with a mindset of “This is my problem” - translating operational pain points into structured solutions, driving clarity between teams, and ensuring our systems are built for growth. You’ll understand that everyone else is your customer, and your job is to make their work simpler, faster, and better.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (AND LOVE DOING)
  • Lead end-to-end needs analysis for all operational systems, processes, and tooling - from identification through delivery and optimisation.
  • Map, document, and constantly refine how operations works - ensuring clarity between field, network, customer, and support functions.
  • Translate complex requirements into actionable system design, ensuring full alignment with fibertime™’s operational model and “Golden State” standards.
  • Partner with technology, data, and people teams to implement sustainable, user-driven solutions that make work easier, faster, and more accurate.
  • Own delivery - tracking every initiative from concept to closure, ensuring accountability, communication, and measurable improvement.
  • Build and maintain system dependency maps and process blueprints, highlighting where data and decisions intersect.
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, testing, and iteration, ensuring every tool serves its real-world purpose.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in business analysis or systems design, preferably in telecommunications, utilities, or operationally intensive environments.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and translate operational pain points into actionable system requirements.
  • Strong understanding of workflows, data dependencies, and operational scaling.
  • Excellent communication skills - you can bridge the gap between field teams, leadership, and developers.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Monday.com, Power BI, CRM and ERP systems, and process-mapping software.
