VACANCY : BUSINESS ANALYST – CENTURION (R902K)
24 MONTH CONTRACT
PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE
As part of the Business Analysis team, to assist the Corporation in implementing fit-for-purpose and fit-for-use cost-effective technology solutions by eliciting and analysing business systems and data requirements, compiling documentation for business solutions, facilitating the approval of business and system requirements, participating in system testing and business process mapping.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES, MEASURES & INTERFACES
- Facilitate and/or participate in workshops and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with stakeholders to determine, analyse, and interpret business requirements.
- Collaborate with other Business Analysts to map business processes.
- Develop Business Requirements Document (BRD), including functional and technical specifications.
- Document Business Cases.
- Develop test plans and associated test cases.
- Coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing.
- Manage project governance documentation and project administration.
- Analyse risks associated with business processes and ICT projects.
- Obtain project-related sign-off from relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the implementation of ICT projects.
- Participate in and train end-users.
- Act as liaison between end-users and technical/development teams.
- Manage end-to-end planning and deployment of solutions, including software release implementation.
- Analyse client operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assess the feasibility of new systems and enhancements, ensuring design fits user needs.
- Utilise structured requirements processes to gather, analyse, document, and manage changes, helping to identify business priorities.
- Understand project scoping, planning, and activities.
- Execute activities according to the project plan.
- Identify and manage issues and risks.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on project activities.
- Verify requirements continually and advise against implementations that do not support business objectives.
- Participate in application support and troubleshooting.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or B-Tech in computer science, information technology, information systems, or Process Engineering.
- Business Analysis certification (advantageous).
- Project management certification (advantageous).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, business process management, and reengineering.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, system design, and process mapping.
