Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Business Architect to design, align, and optimise business processes and solutions that support organisational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business architecture, solution design, and data management, supported by recognised industry certifications and extensive hands‑on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document business requirements, processes, and systems.
- Develop and maintain business architecture frameworks aligned to enterprise strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective business and IT solutions.
- Ensure alignment of business architecture with data management principles and industry best practices.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and enterprise architecture projects.
- Provide expertise in cloud‑based architecture (AWS, Azure) and data governance frameworks.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Minimum NQF Level 7 in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Business, or Engineering.
Certifications (any of the following)
- TOGAF 9
- AWS Solution Architect
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBok)
Experience
- More than 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst and Business Architect.
- Proven track record in designing business architecture frameworks and translating business needs into solution requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business process modelling and analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.
- Proficiency in solution design and data governance practices.
- Ability to bridge business and technology needs effectively.
