An innovative technology company in Pretoria is seeking a Business Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Information Systems and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, optimizing business processes, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication. Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Conduct needs assessments and document business, functional, and system requirements.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to define current and future state processes.
Ensure alignment of requirements with organizational goals.
Process Improvement & Optimization: Map, analyse, and optimize existing workflows and business processes.
Recommend and document process improvements supported by data-driven insights.
Solution Design & Documentation: Translate business requirements into clear user stories, specifications, or solution designs.
Collaborate with development and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Serve as liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors.
Ensure shared understanding of objectives, scope, and deliverables across all stakeholders.
Project Delivery Support: Support project planning, prioritization, and delivery activities.
Contribute to testing, user acceptance, and implementation support.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and interpret data to identify trends and performance gaps.
Present insights through clear, actionable reports and dashboards.
Change Management & Enablement: Support communication, training, and adoption activities for new systems or processes.
Ensure smooth transition and sustainability of new solutions.
Governance & Compliance: Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to data privacy and governance standards.
Contribute to risk identification and mitigation in digital projects.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to leverage technology to enhance business value.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or qualification in a related field.
Business Analysis qualification / certification advantageous.
At least 3 years' relevant experience in digital transformation.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
Service delivery orientation with the ability to manage internal and external expectations effectively.
