A leading insurance provider in Johannesburg is looking for an entry-level analyst to bridge the gap between business and IT, focusing on data analytics. The role involves stakeholder interaction, business needs analysis, and documentation of requirements. Responsible for bridging the gap between Insure Business (both Commercial and Personal Lines) and Information Technology and IT Software partners with special focus on Data Analytics.
Interacting with all relevant stakeholders and conducting business needs and cost benefit analysis in order to build a solid Business Case for the requirement. Analyze, compile and manage business requirements. Ability to interpret business processes from a requirements perspective. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. Analyze system defects and their business impact. Perform efficient and effective JAD facilitation with relevant stakeholders. Document business and functional requirements documents. Report on progress in relation to their tasks and work stream against the project plan. Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure project targets are met. Promote relationship management between IT and business by working closely with the BIOs. Stakeholder management: Take ownership of queries and offer possible solution to the various stakeholders / clients and ensure all are resolved and feedback given to relevant parties. Project Delivery: Work closely with the customers to ensure the short and long-term business needs are being addressed while proactively avoiding potential issues.
