Turn Data into DecisionsDataOrbis, a key part of the Smollan business, is looking for a Business Analyst to jump into our fast-paced Project Office.

Our solutions range from cloud-based solutions that are AI-Powered, machine learning predictive tech that keeps our clients ahead of customer behaviour, to centralised, data-visualised, single dashboards, that are custom-built solutions automating and centralising all elements of the management process.

We also predict what our customer needs, what they buy, and how much of it they buy.

Our solutions have revolutionised all forecasting abilities from pricing, inventory, customer behavior, and sales analytics. As a Business Analyst, you're the crucial bridge, connecting what our clients need with what our tech teams—Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Data Visualisation specialists—build.

You won't be stuck in one lane; you'll be working cross-functionally and empowered to make decisions that drive change.

You will be a key member of our Custom / Build Team, working directly on new development projects where you will get immediate exposure to custom solutions and innovation projects.

It's a constantly moving, challenging environment where you get to refine our methodology and ways of working for continuous improvement and efficiency. Here’s What Your Day Will Look Like : You'll talk to stakeholders, figure out what they truly need, and translate those business goals for application development and design into clear, step-by-step technical blueprints (specifications).

You’ll be a core part of the Custom / Build Team, focused on ensuring new development projects and enhancements are delivered on time and according to user requirements. You’ll be hands‑on with the project lifecycle, helping to estimate the effort, managing documentation, and keeping us on track in JIRA and Portfolio. You’re in charge of making sure the final product is perfect.

This means creating test plans, running UAT sessions, and ensuring all solutions are designed and developed to standard. When a project is done, you’ll compile and train teams on the SOP documentation for the new solution.

The Essentials You Need to Bring : A minimum of 2 years of industry‑related work experience in a business analysis role is required. A suitable Tertiary Degree / Diploma or relevant Business Analysis Diploma or certifications. Agile / Scrum certifications are a plus. FMCG industry experience is a plus. You must be highly comfortable with Microsoft SQL Server, JIRA and Portfolio, with knowledge of data warehousing principles and reporting tools. Strong specification and documentation writing skills.
