Bulk LPG Sales Consultant (JB5736)

Location: Alrode, Johannesburg

Salary: R850 - 1 000 000 per annum TCTC

Structure: Inclusive of Car Allowance, Medical Aid, Provident Fund and Group Life

Employment Type: Permanent

We are seeking an energetic and driven Bulk LPG Sales Executive with around 5 years of proven sales experience. The focus of this role is on business development and client acquisition in the industrial sector, specifically for bulk LPG applications such as heating, process energy, and fuel switching. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a strong pipeline, converting opportunities into long-term customers, and achieving ambitious sales targets. While some technical understanding of energy solutions is beneficial, this is first and foremost a sales-oriented role where drive, networking ability, and closing skills are key.

Minimum requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience, ideally in B2B technical or industrial solution selling (LPG, industrial gases, energy, chemicals, fuel or related sectors preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to self-generate pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Relevant sales or business qualifications are advantageous.
  • Technical/engineering background helpful but not essential.
  • Strong sales hunter mentality with proven closing ability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially astute and able to adapt sales strategies to client needs.
  • Self-starter who thrives on targets and growth.
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
  • Willingness to travel within Gauteng and occasionally to other regions as required.
Responsibilities:
  • Prospect, identify, and approach new industrial clients for bulk LPG solutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals to decision‑makers.
  • Negotiate contracts and secure new business to drive market share growth.
  • Stay up to date with competitor activity, industry developments, and pricing trends.
  • Manage relationships with clients to ensure retention, renewals, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to support customer onboarding and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on sales activity and pipeline health.
