Qualifications

• Valid PDP and heavy‑duty license (Code 14).
• 4+ years verifiable driving experience, 2+ years in bulk goods transport.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Knowledge of bulk handling procedures and safety protocols.
• Regional knowledge of Mossel Bay area.
• Ability to perform physical load securing and basic vehicle checks.
• Strong reliability, punctuality and communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Proof of previous employment and references.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulk transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport bulk commodities to designated locations.
• Ensure loading/unloading procedures and prevent spills.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain trip logs, fuel usage, and incidents.
• Communicate with dispatch, loading personnel, and clients.
• Manage time for timely deliveries and pickups.
• Keep vehicle clean and ready for operation.
• Report safety concerns or maintenance needs immediately.
