SUMMARY :

We are seeking a qualified Building Surveyor for our client in Ireland to act as Assigned Certifier in accordance with the Building Control (Amendment) Regulations(BCAR) 2014. The role involves managing building compliance processes from project inception to completion, ensuring that all works meet statutory requirements and industry standards.

POSITION INFO :

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and oversee compliance with Building Regulations throughout the design and construction stages.
• Prepare, lodge, and maintain statutory documentation, including Commencement Notices, Inspection Plans, and Certificates of Compliance.
• Carry out and record site inspections at agreed stages, ensuring that works comply with approved plans, specifications, and relevant regulations.
• Liaise effectively with the design team, contractors, and Building Control Authorities to resolve compliance issues.
• Maintain comprehensive inspection records, reports, and compliance evidence.
• Sign and lodge theCertificate of Compliance on Completion, enabling legal occupation or use of the building.
• Provide expert advice on building condition, defects, materials, and maintenance where required.

Qualifications & Experience :
