A leading educational institution in South Africa is seeking a part-time lecturer to develop academic materials and lecture in various subjects. Candidates must have an appropriate degree (B. Tech, Honours, Master's, or Doctorate) and previous lecturing experience is advantageous. The role requires availability during both daytime and evening hours, with flexible teaching methods including face-to-face and remote options.
FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES <sup>||</sup> Business Support Studies
Bloemfontein Campus
To develop academic material and lecture in allocated subjects for own and other programmes and to execute appropriate community projects.
Diploma: Management
(The lecturers for the above subjects must be able to give classes during the daytime and evening).
Appointed on an hourly basis for specific semester and/or year subjects (teaching, learning and assessment and related administration).
The hourly rate of payment depends on the part‑time lecturer's qualifications and experience.
The format of lectures can be expected to be face‑to‑face, via remote teaching, or a combination/hybrid format.
Facilitation and assessment formats will be subject to change on short notice.
Lecturers will be expected to have their own laptop computer.
Successful applicants will be required to lecture on the relevant CUT campus and will be required to be available at the assigned subject's scheduled class hours, which may include work in the day and/or evening.
An appropriate B. Tech / Honours, Master's or Doctorate degree (depending on the level of presentation).
Previous lecturing experience will serve as an advantage.
Experience with electronic education (Blackboard) is recommended.
