Job summary

A travel service provider is seeking a BSP Refunds Administrator to process refunds and EMD refunds efficiently. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and understanding of airline ticketing. They will ensure accurate refund processes and timely responses to queries, while working independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

  • Processing refunds on BSP Link and GDS system daily.

  • Issuing credit notes for processed refunds.
  • Responding to refund queries within 24 hours.

About the Role

As a BSP Refunds Administrator you will process refunds and EMD refunds as requested by consultants. (This role is planned to be based in Century City).

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to)
  • Processing refunds on BSP Link and the GDS system daily.
  • Ensuring accurate refund values to minimize ADMs resulting from errors.
  • Applying the correct cancellation penalties to each refund.
  • Issuing credit notes for processed refunds.
  • Responding to refund queries submitted via the Ourweb within 24 hours.
  • Following up on refunds submitted via BSP Link.
  • Providing support to the BSP Department as and when required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum National Senior Certificate or relevant Travel and Tourism NQF4 qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
  • Strong fares knowledge and understanding of airline ticketing rules is essential.
  • GDS Amadeus - advanced.
  • Knowledge of automated refund calculations and processing refunds on BSP Link.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Team player with good organisational skills.
  • Investigative nature.
  • Proactive in role.

The BSP Team serves to support the ClubTravel B2B business, assisting our franchise partners with travel-related queries, and aiming for speedy resolution.

This role involves managing franchise client interactions across various channels to ensure a high-quality, error-free service. Due to high volumes, candidates must be able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and service excellence.
