Qualifications

  • 3-year National Diploma (S4/T3) in Electrical Engineering (NQF6).
  • BTech in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
  • Driver's License is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with asset management tracking and transfers.
  • Assist with repairs and maintenance of equipment to broadcast standards.
  • Adhere to service delivery standards of the Division.
  • Submit ad-hoc incident fault reports with findings and repairs.
  • Prevent on-air technical faults and maintain SLA performance.
  • Respond quickly to technical assistance according to delivery requirements.
  • Provide effective technical support to users to reduce downtime.
  • Configure and test digital equipment to avoid on-air faults.
  • Ensure functional, streamlined and reliable digital systems.
  • Follow up reported faults and perform regular health checks.
