Brand Manager - Quest & Commvault

Join to apply for the Brand Manager - Quest & Commvault role at EPSIDON TECHNOLOGY HOLDINGS. Main Purpose of Position: manage the daily running of the assigned brand(s) and continuously strive to grow the success of the assigned brands within First Distribution, being closely involved in all areas related to the brand from a sales and operational perspective.

Responsibilities
  • Sales – Drive Gross Profit targets through resellers, sell First Distribution's product portfolio within existing resellers, recruit new resellers, display key product knowledge, conduct bi‑weekly sales reviews with Line Manager, and maintain accurate pipeline management using CRM.
  • Manage the Brand – Align with vendor objectives, execute vendor strategy, run Quarterly Business Review sessions, manage brand budget and P&L, control operating profit, manage pricing and margins, maintain accurate price lists and product codes, keep staff trained and certifications maintained.
  • Marketing Management – Conduct marketing planning sessions, work with vendor marketing teams to ensure effectiveness of all marketing activity, develop a business development plan, align marketing activities regionally, grow market share, enable customers, and maintain competitive advantage.
  • People Management – Manage sales specialists and ensure they perform according to defined KPIs.
Qualifications
  • Matric or equivalent.
  • IT Diploma / Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of brand / product management experience in the IT industry.
  • IT distribution experience preferred.
  • Experience with software products, cloud and cyber security.
  • Systems: Excel, CRM and Accpac advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff at various levels.
  • Creative, solution‑driven attitude.
  • Willing to work in an agile environment where changes are frequent and technologies evolve.
  • Experience in business / commercial management (budgeting, cost‑benefit analysis, product pricing).
Office Requirements
  • Work-from-office environment.
  • Semi‑formal dress code.
  • Working hours 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Excellent international business language skills (English), both written and verbal.

This is a permanent position subject to a successful three‑month probationary period. You will be required to perform such duties as reasonably required by the business.
