RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving of all stock and dispatch (claims), including processing of all receiving related paperwork according to stipulated deadlines.
- Ensuring that security procedures are followed as per checklist.
- Checking stock leaving the premises for delivery or transfer.
- Observing for theft (staff & customers).
- Checking and signing cash refunds & credit notes.
- Management of change.
- Responsible for security of buildings, setting burglar alarms, locking up in evenings, checking that fences and perimeter are secure.
- Searching staff, vehicle and lockers randomly.
- Conduct generator tests.
- Ensuring write‑offs are correctly disposed of.
- Spot checking stock.
- Conducting label trains / price changes.
- Giving feedback on suppliers to relevant person.
- Weekly asset count (trolleys, radios etc).
- Perform any other tasks as required by Senior Management to ensure smooth operation of the company and to meet high standards of customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years experience in Retail receiving.
- Reliable and honest.
- Confident.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Computer literate (intermediate MS Excel).
- Self‑motivated, assertive and professional.
- Organized, efficient, with strong communication skills on all levels.
- Able to work weekends and public holidays.
- Vigilant and alert with high energy levels.
- Clear credit and criminal history.
