A global logistics leader is seeking an experienced candidate to manage outsourced services and ensure efficiency within the Gauteng region. This role requires strong leadership and people management skills along with expertise in warehouse management systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Tertiary Qualifications :
Matric.
Warehouse and Logistics Diploma or Project Management Diploma or Supply Chain Management Diploma or enrolled in any of them

Cargo Write, Red Prairy (Key User)
Any online ordering application
Excel Data Management Certificate
Excel Advanced
Data Cleaning and Analysis
Dashboard Reporting (Excel or Power BI)
Project management Experience
Environmental Management Certificate / diploma / degree
Job-Related Requirements :
People management skills including leadership, performance management, people motivation and people development (minimum 2 years experience)
Communication & conflict management skills to successfully deal with all levels, age groups and cultures of people – both internal and external.
Commercial & financial : Financial acumen and experience in adherence to budget, contract management and service level agreements more than 2 years
Safety & Global Manufacturing Standard
Problem solving skills identify potential problems and put the necessary in place to resolve the problem.
Important to be pro-active not re-active
Proven Experience in Warehouse Management Systems
Geographic Knowledge of Freestate, Northwest and Gauteng Province
Distribution / Courier Knowledge
Ability to work extended hours when required
Own vehicle and driver's license
Be prepared to travel and moved around between Provinces
Advanced planning abilities
High work rate and attention to detail
Well-developed communication skills
Must demonstrate initiative
Must be conscientious about meeting deadlines.
Must be able to meet customer expectations and ensure compliance with Policies; Regulations; Work Instructions and Work Demand
To effectively measure and manage the outsourced services to ensure efficiency and contract adherence in terms of client relations, operational performance, commercial and financial performance, people management and development, quality management and continual improvement initiatives.
Environment and Facility compliance / risk mitigation.
Manage Staff (Direct reports) in line with BCEA and LRA
Setting Staff Performance Goals
Executing Staff performance review's
Identify & report discrepancies / irregular standards on daily basis and root cause analysis completed per deviation
Daily monitoring of departmental performance by achieving all daily KPIs
Creation and maintenance of repeatable & reliable processes activities according to quality policy
Organizing, Planning and executing of daily work deliverables according to set agreements with clear communication
Ensuring all OH&SA regulations are complied with within area of responsibility
Current & Future State planning of Staff development and succession planning for direct reports
Management of QMS according to company policies and procedures
Staff Meeting / Time and Attendance / Toolbox Talks / Training
Daily SOH check
KPI Measuring
Pick / Pack and Outbound checks to balance
Hiring of vehicles and armed escorts from Distribution plan
Distribution of vehicles on weekly basis
Daily reporting and communication with client on progress (Pick, pack, dispatch, delivery and collection)
Packaging material management / ordering
