A reputable tyre retailer is seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead operations at their branch in Johannesburg West. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tyre and under‑car fitment, retail management, and financial oversight, with excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations to ensure smooth and efficient business running.
• Manage, motivate, and lead branch staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain optimal stock levels, manage inventory, and oversee procurement processes.
• Ensure the achievement of budgets and performance targets as set for the branch.
• Interpret financial statements and take corrective actions to maintain and grow profitability.
• Grow the business through the acquisition of new accounts and customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Implement effective sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Must reside in Johannesburg West area.
• Matric (Grade 12) and a relevant post‑matric degree / qualification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Advanced computer literacy (proficient with MS Office and relevant systems).
• In‑depth knowledge of tyres and under‑car fitment processes.
• Demonstrated financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements.
• Managerial qualification and / or proven management experience.
• At least 2 years of retail management experience (tyre / automotive sector an advantage).
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
