FNB Branch External Sales and Service Advisor role at FirstRand Bank Limited seeks to deliver an exceptional customer experience by understanding client needs and offering tailored financial solutions in a high-volume branch.

You will build long-term client relationships, provide compliant financial advice in line with FAIS and TCF, and contribute to branch targets while staying informed on product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF Level 4) as minimum education.
• 1–3 years in customer-facing environments, service delivery or client support in financial services.
• FAIS-compliant advice knowledge and adherence to regulatory requirements preferred.

As a Branch External sales and Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing compliant, professional financial advice and to walk in and existing clients within a high-volume service branch environment. The role focuses on understanding client financial needs, offering appropriate product solutions, and ensuring ongoing client relationship management in line with FAIS, FICA legislation and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles and FNB governance. Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth
• Provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and sensitive to customer transactional needs and expectations.
• Educate customers to the correct Banking platform aligned with their needs.

• Analyze customer data and provide appropriate financial advice and solutions aligned to client financial goals and in accordance with FAIS requirements
• Maintain accurate and complete client records and documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Qualification: Grade 12/ NQF Level 4
• Preferred Qualification: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related fields recognized by FAIS
• 1–3 years of experience in customer‑facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services
