Job summary

Finbond Mutual Bank is seeking a diligent client service representative to provide sales, promotion, communication and administrative support to clients in the Western Cape.

You will handle incoming calls, record client information accurately, resolve complaints, process payments and assist with daily/ monthly reports and reconciliations. The role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to work across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Knowledge of financial services industry beneficial.
• No criminal record and clear ITC.

Responsibilities

• Answer and handle incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
• Record client information accurately on the company's computer system (Delfin).
• Handle complaints and inquiries regarding payments (eft, Allps, Nupay, etc.).
• Assist with checking and capturing Nupay reports and follow up on failed transactions.
• Balance cash daily and assist with monthly reports and reconciliations.
• Maintain administration records including loan-related documentation.
• Support marketing and product sales activities.

Job description

Main purpose of this job To provide a sales, promotion, communication and administrative service to clients with clearer communication and effective administration; to the extent necessary for the organisation to achieve its objectives.

Critical outcomes

• Prompt and professional answering and handling of incoming telephone calls in accordance with laid down company standards.
• Accurate recording of client information on company’s computer system(Delfin)
• Prompt and effective handling of any complaints received from clients, other branches and Head Office.
• Prompt and effective handling of any enquiries regarding payments (eft, Allps,Nupay,etc)
• Assisting with checking and capturing of Nupay reports and follow up on failed transactions
• Assisting with minimizing of Bad Debt
• Daily Balancing of Cash Box
• Assisting with accurate completion of Daily, Monthly and other reports required from Head Office
• Assisting with reconciliation of all Client accounts ( updating file notes regularily)
• Accurate maintenance of administration records including the keeping of all information required relating to issuing of loans
• Proper and accurate operation of company computer systems and processes in accordance with procedures laid down by the company from time to time

Reporting relationship

The person will report to the Branch Manager.
