Job summary

A leading security services provider in Oos-Kaap is seeking a Box Room Operator to manage vault operations, including the receiving and distributing of consignments. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in the security industry, is computer literate, and possesses strong communication skills. This position requires working night shifts and being physically fit. Applicants from Historically Disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for vault room duties.
  • Plan vault room schedules CIT.
  • Receive and distribute consignments to and from CIT teams.
  • Scan consignments.
  • Balance vault and lock up.
  • Sort consignments.
  • Document and handle administration duties.
  • Conduct searching duties.

FCS - BOX ROOM OPERATOR
Reporting to the Operations Manager

The above position is vacant at our PE Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to distribute and receive consignments

Minimum Requirements:
  • Clear criminal record
  • PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification (advantageous)
  • At least 1 years’ experience in security industry or similar role
  • Computer literate (compulsory)
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work at night
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Physically fit
Job Specification (not totally inclusive):
